Donna offers a mindfulness-based approach to sustainable, pragmatic stress reduction practices that support greater health and happiness. Through her formal study of behavioral health psychology at Smith and Ithaca Colleges, as an intern at the Center for Mindfulness under the direction of Jon Kabat-Zinn, and throughout 30 years of experience as a wellness practitioner, she has learned to synthesize ancient techniques with modern, brain-based research to promote self-regulation and healing. Her work reflects not only academic and professional expertise, but also the lessons learned from her own real-time journey through depression, anxiety and serious illness. If she says it works, it's because she knows that first-hand, as well as through her work with all kinds of people in all kinds of tough places.
